Dragonfly Lives

we go in baby
and go out on the tide
we go in baby
and go out on the tide
floating on the breeze
of our dragonfly lives

you treat it like you own it
but it's really just a ride
you treat it like you own it
but it's really just a ride
flickering on the surface
of our dragonfly lives

i'm a prism and i'm slicing up the light
the golden sun is fierce and bright

you put your faith in fractions
and the elegance of math
you put your faith in fractions
and the elegance of math
but dragonflies can't count
because they're moving way too fast

i'm a prism and i'm slicing up the light
the swollen moon is mine tonight
i'm a prism and i'm slicing up the light
the sequined sky is mine tonight
